The one-night stand might be still perceived by some part of our society as something immoral and shameless. The numbers, however, reveal that plenty of Americans have accepted that kind of intimate connection as an ordinary constituent of their lives. The one-night stand meaning has changed. Thus, it became a social phenomenon that is unlikely to disappear in the next ten years.

In this article, we consider the pros and cons of one-night stands and suggest the best place where to search for casual sex.

It is hard to believe that less than 50 years ago hookups considered as inappropriate and disgraceful ideas for respectful people. Nowadays, the situation has changed completely. 70% of U.S. citizens have copped to have at least one hookup. On average, the Americans have from 2 to 5 one-night stands.

What is a one-night stand meaning, by the way? Sociologists define it as a kind of consensual sexual relations between two people when they experience strong physical attraction towards each other and don't plan to continue their romantic/intimate connection for longer than one meeting.

The arguments in favor of trying a one-night stand sex

You explore your body and sexuality

Having a permanent partner is great. What often happens, however, is that after some time you start following the same scenario which doesn't have many variations and ideas.

The situation is completely different when it comes to one night stand dating. Each partner has his/her own style, which you discover in the process. You may decide what approach you like and open the second side of intimate life. For instance, you may suddenly realize that you enjoy taking the initiative, even though during your relationships, you've always been submissive, or you're enjoying the positions you've dismissed with your previous partner.

But it's not only about your partners. Second, one-night stand makes you feel more courageous. It contributes to exploring your sexuality and pushing your inner boundaries. The intention to have sex with a stranger is initially brave. It is not simple to open-up to someone and to start an intimate connection within a short period of time. Hence, doing so will immediately help you to get out of your comfort zone.

Once you've crossed that line and got ideas to hook up with someone, you suddenly realize that you can express yourself more eloquently. You can experiment, ask to do something you haven't tried before.

The idea that you probably see that person for the first and the last time in your life liberates your sexual behavior after the hookup.

It makes your life more intriguing

Moreover, what adds one-night stand in your life is a mystery. Unlike sex with a regular partner, here you have no idea how a person will react in various situations. From first sight, it might be intimidating. Your inner control freak wakes up and starts panicking due to the lack of any plan. Nonetheless, after, you start to enjoy the mystery.

It's similar to the hitch-hiking. Firstly, all you think is the perils due to the ambiguity. You don't know who the driver is, how to behave yourself, what to say. However, once you try it, you suddenly realize how much-unexpected benefits bring this kind of traveling. It's a real adventure or a game, where the uncertainty is its inevitable part. You learn how to adjust your behavior due to any new person you meet.

There are, however, some disadvantages of hookup stories.

Things to consider before the one-night stand experience

It might be awkward

Nonetheless, when two people experience only sexual interaction, all other ways of communication might be awkward. You might have great sex but would experience great troubles to wake up with a person and maintain a conversation. What might be even more awkward is if you'll meet the person afterward in the public place.

The study conducted by data researches from Dr.Ed, however, shows that 57% of Americans continue to talk to their one-night stand partners after their interaction. Thus, the chances that you won't experience awkwardness are pretty high.

It might bring unexpected consequences

Even though all people know what does one-night stand mean – consensual relations without further commitment, things can go differently. It might be hard for a person to separate sexual desire from the emotions. If one person feels more involved or excited than the other, it might ruin the whole idea of casual sex.

Thus, you can never predict for 100% the consequences when it comes to humans' feelings.

Find a Pleasure with Pure one-night stand app

Even though people still tend to meet their hookup partners in old-fashioned ways – in the bars or clubs, the easiest ideas to find the right person for a one-night stand in the XXI century is to use the one-night stands app. According to the study by Dr.Ed, nearly 45% of Americans are searching for their hookup partners on dating sites and applications.

Thus, we suggest that the best way to find the right person for a one-night stand is a hookup web app Pure.

Just consider those benefits of the one night stand website:

It stands for real meetings: one night stand

Plenty of one night stand websites make everything to make you spend a lot of time there. Pure isn't one of those sites. Our main purpose is to make you meet people in real-time. We aim to transfer virtual communication into the real.

That is why our matching algorithms analyze your preferences and show you the users with whom you have the highest probability for the offline meeting. You won't see the random and creepy members who ward off you from dating in general. You'll be offered, however, the most relatable people. Thus, the chances to get a quick one-night stand are pretty high.

It saves your time

Have you ever noticed how your intention to have a hookup turns into a puff? It often happens due to the long and clumsy online conversation, which evaporates the intrigue and tension.

Pure restricts you and gives you more simultaneously. You have a one-hour session, which makes you set the priorities and click Like only to those people who you really find attractive. Furthermore, the platform generates chats with your matches, which are deleted in 60-minutes. Thus, you don't spend any time in polite and boring talks. You and your interlocutors can be straightforward and describe all your sexual preferences and desires about one-night stand sex.

There is nothing shameful in it. You both know that your time is limited and you both don't want to waste it for irrelevant propositions. Once you've found the perfect match, however, you don't have to wait for the right moment. Just ask the person for the meeting and for 99% you won't be rejected.

It respects your privacy

Unlike the vast majority of one night stand dating sites that require too much personal data, Pure allows you to decide what to tell other users. We don't require to fill the long and boring questionnaire, answering dozens of irrelevant questions. We don't even ask for your name. You may remain absolutely anonymous or tell everything about yourself in the private chats. We believe it should be your decision, not ours.

Moreover, the web app respects your 'Right to be Forgotten.' Once you decide to delete all your data from the site, you should contact Data Officer who will erase all your online footprints from the platform.

It has many users

The Pure is a relatively new project. However, the app Pure has been functioning for many years. Pure became a brand, and you definitely won't feel lonely there.

One-night stands have both benefits and disadvantages. You may feel liberated and spontaneous. You may also experience awkwardness and have unexpected situations.

Once you've decided to try it, you should search for the partners in the most perspective places. Pure one night stand website is a perfect place for it.

Find your one night stand in one hour

Try shameless dating app.
You'll crave for more!

Pure users are looking for adventures. They value anonymity, straightforwardness, and intimacy with no obligations.

The application works quickly and simply — no long registrations or endless questionnaires, no social media links or photo albums. The algorithm uses end-to-end encryption and deletes profiles and chats in an hour after they start.

Upload your favourite selfie, find the person who turns you on and start texting. You have one hour to arrange an adventure together.
